-Is PsoEcze Care™ safe for children?
Yes. All PsoEcze Care™ products are perfectly safe for children of all ages, however we do recommend you consult a health care practitioner before using on children under the age of 5.
-What do I do if I experience an adverse reaction?
It is uncommon for people to experience an initial adverse reaction; however it does happen in 1-2% of cases. This is usually part of the healing process and is more common if you have been using steroidal (cortisone-based) products in the recent past. In this situation:
- The scales/flakes of the skin will seem to shed more than usual.
- The lesions will appear redder and larger and will feel like the skin is dehydrating.
This is a normal reaction, for some people; it is a cleansing reaction to steroids previously used on the skin. If you experience a severe reaction or a reaction that persists for more than a week, cease using PsoEcze Care™ immediately and consult your doctor.
-Is it usual to get an initial adverse reaction?
A few people (1-2%) do experience an initial worsening of symptoms, but usually this soon passes and beneficial effects are commonly seen within 12 weeks. As mentioned above, this is commonly only a reaction that occurs as a result of switching topical medications. If you do have any severe reaction, please consult your doctor.
-Can PsoEcze Care™ Cream or Ointment be used on the face?
Yes. Both the cream and ointment may be used on the face. However, great care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, as this could cause irritation.
-Which is better: PsoEcze Care™ Cream or Ointment?
Both the cream and the ointment contain the same strength of Mahonia Aquifolium. All research is done with ointment as it tends to penetrate the skin more than the cream and creates a protective ‘film’ over the skin. However, ointment is slightly greasy. It may cause a shiny appearance on the skin, and may rub off on clothing. The cream, on the other hand, is a light-weight texture and is quickly absorbed into the skin. For these reasons, we recommend that the cream be used in the daytime and the ointment at night.
-How long should I use PsoEcze Care™?
Although some patients see results in only a few weeks, we recommend that you use a combination of PsoEcze Care™ cream (twice in the day) and PsoEcze Care™ ointment (once at bedtime) for 12 straight weeks. You may then adjust the usage based on your assessment of the results. It is advisable however, to use PsoEcze Care™ regularly even after your skin has cleared in order to maintain results.

YES! PsoEcze Care™ is free of STEROIDS, COAL TAR AND LANOLIN. It contains a plant extract called Mahonia Aquifolium (aka 'Oregon Grape') which has been used for years to naturally soothe skin ailments. The bark, and stem of the Mahonia has naturally occurring alkaloids which have anti-proliferative, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, the cream also contains sweet almond oil and jojoba oil.
